Chocolate Protein Porridge๐Ÿค“๐Ÿ‘…

This is one of my favourite ways to start the day๐Ÿค“ It’s sweet, filling and chocolaateeeeey๐ŸŒž๐Ÿซ but still full of the good stuff ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ

It’s great for giving you slow release energy, and helps to keep your blood sugar levels stable ๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿผ Porridge is a fab example of where carbohydrates 100% help your training, or just in day to day life! ๐Ÿ˜Š

INGREDIENTS –

  • 30g porridge oats
  • 25g chocolate protein powder
  • 1 tbsp chia seed
  • 1tsp sweetener
  • 1 medium egg
  • 200ml water
  • Frozen berries
  • Carob/agave syrup or honey
  • Flax seed

METHOD –

  1. In a bowl combine the oats, protein powder, chia seed, sweetener and egg.
  2. Add the water, and continue to mix
  3. Microwave for up to 2 minutes, dependent on how runny you want it!
  4. Top with anything – I topped with frozen berries, flax and carob syrup ๐Ÿ˜˜

30g protein / 10g fat / 36g carbsย
