About me

Firstly, thank you for visiting at my blog! It’s laaaavely to meet you! My name’s Anna, I’m 19 years old and from Surrey in England. I’m also currently in my second year at the University of Leeds, studying Sociology!

I’ve always loved writing, but analysing poetry and novels wasn’t really for me. However, I feel like I’ve found my ‘niche’ through blogging about all things fitness, food and lifestyle!

From a young age, I’ve always suffered with body insecurities and I went from an chubby 13 year old, to a calorie obsessed control freak. After years of putting myself down, I decided enough was enough. I began to develop my own workout and diet plan through google, youtube and reading EVERY Women’s Health magazine. I started to go the gym even more and absolutely loved it. I began to eat properly and fuel my body. Slowly, but surely my unhealthy obsession with being ‘skinny’ stopped. I weight train 5 times a week and I’m obsessed with it! I’m a massive believer in less cardio wardio, and more weights and protein shakesssss. That was a joke. But I do like a good shake I won’t lie. Not only that, but I’ve learnt the importance of eating enough. Eating carbs for energy, getting enough calories to thrive off and generally enjoying food!

For me, it’s more than just a vanity thing, but something that keeps me unbelievably positive and happy. I still struggle with anxious thoughts and self confidence issues, but I’m learning ways to cope with them – which I hope I can use to help others who feel this way too!

Starting university was where I really fell in love with fitness and cooking. It became more than just a hobby, but a passion. I was cooking for myself, creating my own recipes and educating myself on exercise and optimum training. I am someone who is very focused on having balance in life –  keeping fit and eating good, but also enjoying a cheeky night out a few beveragios and a norty kebab. It sounds cliche, but moderation with everything is key.  Despite fitness being a way to my heart, I’m also passionate about a lot of other things! This is why I also love to write about travel, friendships, confidence and lots more lifey bits and pieces.

Without sounding like a cringey, cliche CV; I love to have a good laugh and a chat about pretty much anything! Which is why I blog about pretty much anything… I hope you enjoy my content and maybe it helps just a little bit! Warning in advance – I can be a bit weird and wacky sometimes, but that’s all part of the fun AM I RIGHT 🙂

Love, Anna ❤️✨
